Are you buying improved property?

If the land already has a house on it you have some things to consider. Can you put on an addition, add a swimming pool, or add buildings? These things should be considered to see if the property will meet your future needs.

Some properties are severely limited by government regulations, environmental constraints, and locations of things such as the septic system and well.

If you are concerned about this, we will be happy to assist you. We also recommend that you have a boundary survey done to be certain of what you are buying.

Are you buying vacant land?

If the land is vacant and you are planning on building a house we recommend you be certain you can build. Some properties are unable to be built on because of government regulations.

There are many things that can stop you from building or stop you from building the house you desire. Things like zoning, building restriction lines, environmental limitations, bad percolation, etc.
